Rachel is from central Pennsylvania and moved to Denver in 2018. She joined the Belly Bliss team as a Belly Yoga and Baby & Me Yoga instructor in 2020. As a registered 500hr and RPYT, she can be found teaching prenatal, postpartum, baby and me, power and private yoga classes throughout the Denver metro area. She also began her Postpartum Doula journey in 2022 and has been loving supporting families in that way along with teaching yoga. She loves live music, cooking (and eating!) lots of delicious plant-based food, and spending time outdoors with loved ones. Since the age of 15, Rachel has been passionate about early childhood education, parenting, and yoga. After attending graduate school in The Netherlands and moving to Denver, she was a full time nanny to several wonderful families, who introduced her to the perinatal world through Baby and Me Yoga classes with the kiddos, to supporting one of the moms through a challenging pregnancy through yoga. Rachel believes that the journey into parenthood can be a beautiful and difficult one, and one that simply does not need to be walked alone.
Interests & Hobbies
Aside from teaching or practicing on the mat, she loves spending time outdoors in the beautiful Colorado sunshine on hiking and camping trips with friends. She and her partner, Mark, are also live music lovers! They love traveling to new and old venues to see their favorite bands play. They also take every chance they can get to visit family and friends all over the country, but mostly on the East Coast where Rachel is from.
